The 2024 CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show took place June 22-23 at Dayton International Airport in Dayton, Ohio, celebrating the show’s 50th anniversary. The event was headlined by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels flying their F/A-18 Super Hornets, alongside the USAF F-16 Viper Demo Team and the U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team. Crowd favorites included the Tora! Tora! Tora! reenactment of the attack on Pearl Harbor complete with pyrotechnics and a Wall of Fire, as well as aerobatic performances from Rob Holland, the AeroShell Aerobatics Team, and the TITAN Aerobatic Team. Ground displays featured an impressive static lineup including a USAF B-52H Stratofortress, C-5M Super Galaxy, F-35A Lightning II, a German Air Force Airbus A400M, and a NASA Glenn Research Center PC-12. The Blue Angels showcased experience and skill in flying engines in tight formations.
